This DVD player has an external trigger input. Connect a button, motion sensor, pressure mat, etc.* to the wire terminals on the back. Whenever the external switch or sensor is triggered it will activate the play function on the DVD player.

*Dry contact closures only! Applying any kind of voltage to the trigger input will damage the DVD player.
